Should've just added on to what was already great

When I clicked on the button for neon 2, I actually thought I was about to play neon 1, but when I saw the scoreboard, I knew something had changed. I was really excited for a new neon. Why? Here's what I pictured: the same neon frame with the same controls, a few more power-ups and a few more enemies. Instead, the larger frame you play in makes the game much harder to manage. The fact that the enemies (especially those damn hexagons) can spawn right on top of you makes the game pointlessly difficult. If this game were to stand alone, I would like it a lot, but I think I'm going to go play the original neon now.

Most of game very fun

I played the first WOne and I'm very impressed with the improvements. The bungee cord and the central gravity idea are great additions to the gameplay. My only real problem is the limited number of lives. You can't fully explore if you have to be careful about how many times you die. My suggestion would be at least give people passwords so they don't have to start all the way from square one when they lose all their lives and don't get fed up and quit (like me). Even this is a compliment though, I only wish I had more lives so I could play longer! Well made.

Good game, but needs tweaking.

The first level is unbearably long the third or fourth time playing it through. Seeing as you have no save or password feature, that is the only way to get to the 2nd level which consistently screwed me over within seconds. Perhaps make the first level the tutorial and then the difficulty would be excusable. This review could have been a 10 with a little tweaking.

There must be a sequel.

Do it.

Nice game, but definitely needs work.

It's an interesting concept, especially once undestood how to stop the ball from bouncing. Only minimally fun, and unfortunately this game falls victim to one of the worst downfalls of its kind: there is a spot near the middle of the window where no little stars pass so my ball is just chillin there. I say "is" because I'm on level 17 and counting as I write this review. I don't even have to do anything.

Good game with more potential.

The game itself was kinda lame, you really had no tactical way of foreseeing whether one way was going to work better than another. It is a very good basic concept of what could be a fun game. My suggestions would be to 1.) Maybe have some kind of factors indicating which choices might be better (like, radar reports spotted this, or shelling visible of to the west, etc) and 2.) Find someone who knows action script so you can place units for an on coming attack, then click start and watch the mayhem. It could be awesome.

CANT LOAD

Yeah, great game, but without load ability, why?

Read only if you give up

1st: Green toy, upper left shadow, right ear, right telephone shadows.

2nd: Missing pole over head, missing ear, dual doors changed, missing sign.

3rd: Shirt color changed, upper right wooden cabinets, counter lines gone, upside-down chair leg missing.

4th: Light on ground gone, trashcans gone, rocks reorganized, telephone pole gone, freddy's shins.

5th: Far body reverse, axe reversed, no light reflection in window, left wall different and something else I couldn't find.

Gave up after. Fun game though.

Lots of work to be done.

I'm only stopping to tell you this because I think you have potential to move in the right direction, but you've just been half-assed so far. You've realized in this sequel that an RPG fighting based game has to have some degree of strategy, so your incorporation of weaknesses was a good start. Add some other factors, for example: Immunity of attacks to certain enemies (like fire wouldn't hurt crash man), a stock of attacks (so if you use the same attack, you can run out), different attacks have different critical hit ratios, make a beam powerup like in the original game so the plasma beam doesn't become obsolete, have the attacks have different and specific functions (though I like how you did time stop). I could give other specific suggestions, but these are crucial if you want to create an entertaining game.

Lobsters rock!

That was amazing! The amiation was soooo smooth, I've never seen a tween ease so well. You seem to know exactly what you're doing. Can't wait for a release. Voting 5!

Hope you like the stuff I put up.
