This was the sweetest animation ever!

Way to tap into the dark side, man. That was so freakin great, I know exactly what that's like. Keep making more pure quality like this.

Posting on behalf of my sister: Funny as hell

Rachel writes: Kick-ass meeting - loved the "Rosemary's Baby" reference. Glad to see Begley, the British squirrel is featured again. Great job, illwillpress!

As for SurgeCMK, sir or madam, the reason why illwill has such a high approval rating is because people have SEEN HIS WORK FOR WHAT IT IS, and thought it kicked ass - UNLIKE the Bush administration, who got THEIR high approval rating by manipulating the masses after Sept. 11 and lying to the masses in order to go to war. However, illwill is NOT leading the free world, so you, Surge, are under no obligation to watch illwill's movies.

And since it's clear to me that you have a severe dislike of illwill's movies and no understanding of why they are so well-liked, you might be better off watching something that appeals to you, among your own kind.

I would suggest the "Retarded Animal Babies" movies.

Amazing eye candy!

Your animation is so fluid and easy to watch. I love your style and if you don't fuck up the story plot, you've got a masterpiece on your hands.

Amazing, except for certain aspects.

Your drawings are incredible, and the work you put into this is obvious. Only a few plot holes and lack of stylized language keep this adventure merely a fantasy story rather than a Flash masterpiece. A lot of times, especially in the prologue, character motivation was questionable and the random puctuation/capitalization didn't help. It really took away from how great these works have the potential of being. Also, plan your scenes so you can use shape tweening without having to redraw characters frame by frame. If you do that half-asses, it just looks blocky. Still an amazing product.

SickDeathFiend responds:

hey glad you dug it.The characters motivations are to stay alive heh.
More about them will be revealed later on, you get to know alot more about riggs and why he does what he does in later episodes to come.

Nice shorts, fun animation

Hey, nice job, maybe you could string a story together, altho with your animation style, you'd be better off doing the Arfenhouse type thing.

BTW, is your SN on AIM ZeroSk8er? If so this is bloo min graped, and it's good to see you're on NG!

ZT responds:

nope im not ZeroSk8er, glad you liked it

thx for da review

GREATEST MOVIE EVER!

Well, except for arfenhouse, you guys top my list. Oh, just wondering though... what the hell are scratch and sniff wires?

Tomorrows-Nobody responds:

what's Scratch and Sniff Wires? the most random thing we could come up with for Eric to say in his usual half-awake rambles (he does that sometimes.. and it makes NO SENSE).
Props to you for understanding him though.

Bout time this made front page.

You guys are gods. Can't wait to see number three, keep it up.

Overwhelmingly well done.

That was amazing. Your thoughts were very well organized, although sometimes redundant. Then again, it was more like a stream of consciousness, and redundance is common. Very good points. Refreshing. An oasis in a sea of crap. Liked the diversions in the back and at the end. It surprised me, however, that an animator of your calibur cannot make a replay button. Simple instructions follow:

1.) Insert - New symbol

2.) Make a button with chosen graphic.

3.) Isolate button on the stage in a blue square and select "Action".

4.) Select "Actions", then "Movie Control", then "goto". In the box labeled "Frame", enter the frame you want the user to go to when they click the button.

Code should read:

on (release) {
gotoAndPlay(1);
}

Just felt like helpin out ;)

Da-Dinictus responds:

Flash is, and will remain, a bitch when it comes to replay buttons in a movie clip, in scenes. Even Zen, from the Atomic Bar series, having had enough experience with this problem, couldn't help out. It would just replay the damn epilogue, but I just as well might add it in so some people can replay that. Maybe. School sux, so to speak. -_-;;

That was stunning.

You have some serious potential. Please don't waste it. Do these two things, and your art will be brilliant:

1.) Your drawings are amazing. Slow down the frame rate or spend more time focusing on one character during the fights. The frantic camera changes often got confusing. You draw so well; don't waste that by speeding up the frames.

2.) Make sure there's some kind of back story/history so it doesn't end up like "I was sent to destroy you!" *FIGHT* "You are too strong!" *FIGHT* "I will not lose!" *FIGHT* (Hero transforms and whoops ass and it ends happily)

You're well on your way to having your own series. Very nice choice of music too.

Dude, SOAD + FbF animation = Sweetness

Your style is brilliant. Make more. Please make more. Many more. Much more. Great choice of song. Everything just worked.

Hope you like the stuff I put up.
